Schedule Changes Effective Monday, August 25, 2008 

Rio Vista Delta Breeze will be making minor schedule changes.  Some highlights of the changes includes

•         New Midday trip on Request from Rio Vista to / Fairfield at 11:50 am

•         New Midday trip from Fairfield to Rio Vista leaving at 10:50 am

•         Minor schedule changes to Routes 52 and 53.

•         New ADA Priority Service to replace Solano Paratransit.

•         Vista Cab service in Rio Vista for Delta Breeze Taxi Scrip Users

•         Greyhound and Amtrak tickets now accepted on Routes 50, 52 and 53

New schedules will be available on board the buses and online the week of August 18, 2008.

Greyhound adds a new stop in Suisun City, CA 
The City of Rio Vista through its Rio Vista Delta Breeze transit service in conjunction with Greyhound Lines, Inc will return Greyhound service to Suisun City.  After a 2-year absence, the new Greyhound service will begin service on Friday, July 18, 2008 operating between San Francisco and Sacramento with certain trips continuing to Reno, Nevada. Our bus stop is located at the Suisun/Fairfield Amtrak Station, 177 Main Street, Suisun City. 

Passengers can now purchase Greyhound tickets direct to Rio Vista, Isleton, Antioch and Lodi from over 3,100 locations served by Greyhound through a new interline partnership between Greyhound and Rio Vista Delta Breeze.

Solano Paratransit Discontinues Service in Rio Vista

Effective July 31, 2008 - Solano Paratransit will no longer serve the City of Rio Vista.  All Rio Vista ADA certified passengers traveling to Fairfield and Suisun City will now travel on Rio Vista Delta Breeze Route 50 during its operating hours - 5:30 am to 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday. For travel to other detinations, transfer opportunities to Vallejo Runabout and Solano Paratransit are available in Fairfield and to Tri Delta Transit Dial-A-Ride in Antioch. Vista Cab Begins Operations
Vista Cab has started taxicab operations in the City of Rio Vista and to other destinations outside the City.  As a result, the Rio Vista Delta Breeze Taxi Scrip Program is back in operation.  Please call Vista Cab at (707) 712-6963.


Purchase Bus Passes at Delta Pharmacy in Rio Vista
You can now purchase bus passes at Delta Pharmacy at 401 Main Street in Downtown Rio Vista. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. All Monthly City, InterCity and 10-Ride City and InterCity passes are available.

People hired to work for Rio Vista Delta Breeze are not employees of the City of Rio Vista, rather they are employed by the independent contractor, MV Public Transportation, Inc. Learn How To Ride The Bus!
Delta Breeze staff can train you on how to ride the bus.  Mobility Training is available to anyone wanting independence and a lower cost transit trip. Mobility Training will teach you how to board and deboard a bus, access a bus stop and read a bus schedule.  To request this FREE service, please call (707) 374-5337.or email jandoh@ci.rio-vista.ca.us .

All successful participants will receive a free Rio Vista Delta Breeze 10-Ride CityPass to use on Delta Breeze deviated fixed routes.

Rent a Bicycle Locker at the Boat Ramp
